This cohort of teachers leaders recruited from within Portland General Electric’s service territory worked to create new and engaging energy and safety education lessons for use in local classrooms and with PGE’s Community Impact and Volunteer programs.

2025-2026 Clean Energy Fellows: EMBER Cohort
Educators will participate and collaborate in a national cohort to engage students in participatory science and a greater understanding of how the microbes in a forest are crucial for forest health and recovery. They will develop data collection activities that will connect to research happening as a part of the EMBER project.

2025-2026 Clean Energy Fellows: Oregon CREST Design Cohort
Educator experts use Human-Centered Design and collaborate with workforce development clients across the state of Oregon to build career navigation tools supporting entry into quality clean energy jobs. The project is part of the Oregon Clean Energy Workforce’s effort to place 5,000 individuals in clean energy jobs by 2027.
