  • Digital multimeter
  • “Dead” rechargeable D lithium ion battery of any size
  • Battery holder to fit the selected battery
  • Alligator clips
  • Electromagnet-and-compass ammeter
  • Masking tape
  • Two 1V, 400mA mini-solar panels
  • Gooseneck lamp with 100W incandescent bulb
