Clark Columbia Vista Corporation

The 2.16-kilowatt roof-mounted photovoltaic (PV) installation at Columbia Vista Corporation provides power to the company's mill. This demonstration project is a direct result of the success of Clark Public Utilities' (CPU) green power program, Green Lights. The solar electric system was funded by revenues from this voluntary program, which allows utility customers to purchase non-polluting, renewable energy. Energy monitoring provided to Columbia Vista Corporation connected real-time performance data from their PV system to the Energy Exploration Center for educational purposes at the time of the project.
