Natalie bring 20+ years of science education experience to CE, working in school a in New York City, at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, and at Gresham-Barlow School District in Gresham, Oregon. Her work at the District level involved participation on the science curriculum adoption committee and working with district instructional coaches on developing unit plans that integrate science and literacy. Over Natalie’s career, she has worked to bring meaningful experiences to students around the removal invasive species, local ecosystems, sustainable architecture, renewable resources, and composting, all with a lens of equity and social justice in her planning and instruction. Natalie is currently the Assistant Principal of Restorative Practices at Gilbert Heights Elementary
